Share the Spirit of Pride
How do you share the spirit of Pride? You volunteer to put on New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Events. By joining us now you could help choose Grand Marshals for the March, find that unknown but spectacular act for the Rally, develop the perfect site plan for PrideFest or create brand-new décor for the Dance on the Pier.
We want to share the spirit of Pride with you.
When the fireworks display ignites over the Hudson River, you'll be glad you did.

HOP Volunteer Opportunities
HOP invites all groups and individuals -- whether gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or heterosexual who support the struggle for lesbian and gay liberation to plan and participate in New York City's Pride events. This welcome extends to all who support the struggle for the liberation of these communities. In the spirit of Stonewall, Heritage of Pride welcomes the participation of all, regardless of age, creed, gender, gender identification, HIV status, national origin, physical, mental or developmental ability, race, religion, or sexual orientation. Individuals are encouraged to Volunteer their time or expertise to HOP or become a member of the organization.
Heritage of Pride is comprised of a number of subcommittees. Most committees also meet once a month. These include the March committee, the Rally committee, the Dance committee and the PrideFest committee, as well as committees for development, outreach, media, human resources/volunteers plus a variety of ad hoc committees.
